On Friday, September 13th, CAIS student leaders Hannah Murray, John Bunyi, and Jaspreet Ranjit hosted a fun-filled evening in Pasadena for CAIS members. The event kicked off at 4:30 p.m. with food and drinks at Craft’s, where everyone had the chance to relax and connect before heading over to the Neon Retro Arcade just a few blocks away.
At night, the group enjoyed classic arcade games, with 4-player Pacman and Super Smash Bros coming up as crowd favorites. Hannah Murray highlighted the flexibility of CAIS members: “Pasadena can be a long drive, depending on traffic, and we still had a great turnout.”
As a spontaneous addition, the group stopped by Kinrose Creamery for ice cream, rounding off the night with a sweet treat. Jaspreet also shared that “Ice cream at Kinrose was a fun, spontaneous trip, and we got to enjoy some live music while we were there.” Events like these are essential in fostering the strong sense of community that makes CAIS so special. A big thank you to everyone who came out and made this event a success!
